What South Node does in a chart
South Node describes your past-life gifts and comfort zone to grow beyond. Its sign says in what style, and its house says in which part of life.
South Node in Taurus
Taurus is a fixed earth sign. Earth signs build, keep, and trust what they can touch and measure. Fixed signs hold things. They sit in the middle of each season and like to finish. South Node in Taurus takes on that style.
The other node
The two lunar nodes are always opposite each other, so a South Node in Taurus means a North Node in Scorpio. Your soul's destiny and growth direction this lifetime sits in Scorpio, and the two are read together as one axis.
What this page cannot tell you
Sign is one of three things that describe a placement. The house South Node falls in and the aspects it makes to the rest of the chart change the reading a great deal. Two people with South Node in Taurus can live it very differently.
