What South Node does in a chart
South Node describes your past-life gifts and comfort zone to grow beyond. Its sign says in what style, and its house says in which part of life.
South Node in Gemini
Gemini is a mutable air sign. Air signs think, talk, connect, and need ideas as much as company. Mutable signs change things. They close each season and like to adapt. South Node in Gemini takes on that style.
The other node
The two lunar nodes are always opposite each other, so a South Node in Gemini means a North Node in Sagittarius. Your soul's destiny and growth direction this lifetime sits in Sagittarius, and the two are read together as one axis.
What this page cannot tell you
Sign is one of three things that describe a placement. The house South Node falls in and the aspects it makes to the rest of the chart change the reading a great deal. Two people with South Node in Gemini can live it very differently.
