Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Birth details, your birth date, time, and place, and the name you were given at birth. These are the foundation of your chart and numerology.
• Account information, your email address and a display name. Your password is stored only in secure, hashed form by our authentication provider, we never see it.
• What you create, your birth chart, saved readings, and conversations with your Personal Oracle, so you can return to them.
• Purchases & bookings: the reports you buy and any live readings you book, including the topic and availability you choose to share so we can arrange the session.
• Subscription status, which plan you're on. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Basic usage, limited technical and usage information needed to operate the service securely (for example, your time zone and daily question counts). Our page analytics are cookie-free and do not identify you. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information for one main purpose: to build and personalize your readings, your chart, horoscopes, tarot, numerology, and Personal Oracle, from your real data. We also use it to run your account, process your subscription and any purchases, keep the service secure, and respond when you contact us.

We do not use your birth details for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

AI-assisted content

Some narrative interpretations and illustrations on Astrodites are generated or assisted by AI. Astrodites calculates chart and numerology data separately, then uses its own process to compile and organize those facts and other relevant inputs. A reading or report may therefore contain some AI-generated material, but it is not entirely AI-generated.

To prepare this content, we may send an AI service provider the information needed for the request. This can include calculated chart or numerology data, your name, birth details, relationship context, questions, conversation history, and other text you choose to provide. We do not send your payment card details.

We use these providers under paid business terms that do not allow them to use your information to train their AI models. Providers may retain content for a limited time to run the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal requirements, under their own policies. Please leave out anything sensitive that a question or report does not need.

Who helps us process it

We rely on a small set of trusted service providers to run Astrodites, and share only what each one needs to do its job:

• Hosting & database: to run the app and securely store your account and the data above.
• Payments (Stripe), to process subscriptions, report purchases, and bookings. Stripe handles your card details directly under its own privacy policy.
• AI service providers: to produce or assist with some personalized text and illustrations, as described above. They are not allowed to train their models on your information. Your chart itself is calculated by Astrodites using our own engine and established open astronomy libraries, never by an AI provider or a third-party astrology API.

To monitor quality, reliability, and misuse, we may keep restricted operational logs containing requests, system instructions, provider and model details, and excerpts of responses. These logs can contain personal information included in a request. They are not included in the self-service account export and may remain after account deletion until they are manually or automatically purged.

We may also disclose information if we're legally required to, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or Astrodites.

How we protect your data

Your information is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to what's needed to run the service, and sensitive credentials like your password are never stored in a form we can read. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit what we collect in the first place.

Where your data is processed

Astrodites and our service providers may store and process your information in countries other than the one you live in. Wherever it's handled, we hold it to the practices described in this policy.

Your controls & rights

From the Settings page, under “Your data,” you can:

• Download your data, export a copy of the account data included in our self-service export.
• Delete your account, this starts a 14-day undo window. Nothing is permanently erased during that time, so if you change your mind you can sign back in and restore your account. After 14 days, we complete the account deletion process, subject to the retention exceptions described below.

You can also correct your birth details any time in Settings. These tools cover the rights people care about most, seeing your data, taking a copy, correcting it, and deleting it. For any other privacy request, contact us and we'll do our best to help, in line with applicable law.

Keeping your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active so your chart and readings stay available to you. When you delete your account, we delete or disassociate account-linked data after the 14-day undo window, except where we're required to retain limited records, for example billing records for tax purposes. Restricted operational logs may remain until they are manually or automatically purged. Information typed into free-form fields may remain identifiable within those logs even after the account identifier is removed.

Children's privacy

Astrodites isn't intended for children. You must be at least 16 to create an account, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has shared their information with us, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Astrodites grows. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. The current version always lives on this page.
