Taurus

Earth and fixed

Taurus is a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus. Earth signs build, keep, and trust what they can touch and measure. Fixed signs hold things. They sit in the middle of each season and like to finish.

Its opposite sign is Scorpio. Opposite signs share a modality and sit on one axis, so Taurus and Scorpio tend to be each other's missing half.

The Sun in Taurus

Your Sun in Taurus gives you a steady, sensual, grounded nature. You take your time, you finish what you start, and you value comfort, beauty, and things that last. Once you commit, you rarely let go.

In work you are the reliable one, and you build slowly toward real security. In love you are loyal and affectionate, and you show care through touch, food, and being there. Change is hard for you, so you tend to keep what you have long past the point of needing more.

Three things that help

Let a small change in before a big one forces you.

Say what you need in words, not only in actions.

Protect your rest and your senses. They restore you.

Planets at home and away in Taurus

Venus is at home in Taurus. This is the sign Venus rules, where it works most like itself.

Moon is exalted in Taurus, an honoured guest. The sign brings out Moon's best side.

Mars is in detriment in Taurus, opposite its home. It works here, but against the grain of the sign.
