What Mars does in a chart
Mars describes your drive, ambition, and how you take action. Its sign says in what style, and its house says in which part of life.
Mars in Aries
Aries is a cardinal fire sign. Fire signs act first, warm the room, and need somewhere to put their energy. Cardinal signs start things. They open each season and like to lead. Mars in Aries takes on that style.
Condition in the sign
Mars is at home in Aries, the sign it rules, so it works most like itself here.
What this page cannot tell you
Sign is one of three things that describe a placement. The house Mars falls in and the aspects it makes to the rest of the chart change the reading a great deal. Two people with Mars in Aries can live it very differently.
