What Mars does in a chart
Mars describes your drive, ambition, and how you take action. Its sign says in what style, and its house says in which part of life.
Mars in Libra
Libra is a cardinal air sign. Air signs think, talk, connect, and need ideas as much as company. Cardinal signs start things. They open each season and like to lead. Mars in Libra takes on that style.
Condition in the sign
Mars is in detriment in Libra, opposite the sign it rules. It works here, but against the grain of the sign, and that friction is often where the placement grows most.
What this page cannot tell you
Sign is one of three things that describe a placement. The house Mars falls in and the aspects it makes to the rest of the chart change the reading a great deal. Two people with Mars in Libra can live it very differently.
