What Mercury does in a chart
Mercury describes how you think, communicate, and learn. Its sign says in what style, and its house says in which part of life.
Mercury in Cancer
Cancer is a cardinal water sign. Water signs feel, remember, protect, and read the room before anyone speaks. Cardinal signs start things. They open each season and like to lead. Mercury in Cancer takes on that style.
What this page cannot tell you
Sign is one of three things that describe a placement. The house Mercury falls in and the aspects it makes to the rest of the chart change the reading a great deal. Two people with Mercury in Cancer can live it very differently.
