Leo

Fire and fixed

Leo is a fixed fire sign ruled by Sun. Fire signs act first, warm the room, and need somewhere to put their energy. Fixed signs hold things. They sit in the middle of each season and like to finish.

Its opposite sign is Aquarius. Opposite signs share a modality and sit on one axis, so Leo and Aquarius tend to be each other's missing half.

The Sun in Leo

Your Sun in Leo gives you a warm, generous, creative nature. You are made to be seen, and you light up a room when you feel appreciated. Loyalty and pride run deep, and you would rather be big-hearted than careful.

In work you want to create, lead, or perform, and you do your best when your effort is recognized. In love you are devoted and romantic, and you give with both hands. Your challenge is the moment the applause goes quiet and you have to keep going anyway.

Three things that help

Give praise as freely as you hope to receive it.

Notice when pride is speaking instead of your heart.

Make something creative every week. It keeps your fire lit.

Planets at home and away in Leo

Sun is at home in Leo. This is the sign Sun rules, where it works most like itself.

Saturn is in detriment in Leo, opposite its home. It works here, but against the grain of the sign.
